When I was looking for a job, I remembered coming across Spencer who built the community for Virtual Asssitants in the Philippines. What I love about working with him is that he is straightforward, he is proactive and kind enough to lend me his past client. I got the job through his referral, working for a Insurance Financial Agency as a Recruitment Specialist. I was a General Virtual Assistant prior to this position for the past nine years. I've handle different remote positions such as Ecommerce, Cold Calling, Cold Emails, Admin Staff, Order Administration, etc. The hardest part of working as a multi-tasker is the ability to adapt to changes. It can very challenging but I have confidence in myself that I am committed to what I do and is intentional with my goals. Progress gets me going. Not perfect but I am moving forward, everytime. I do like to work with clients who trust and have confidence in themselves, who loves growth, training and takes accountability. I would love to work in a environment that allows me to grow, learn and experience the part of their business. I want to help.
Starting out with overseas clients, my biggest worry was the lack of stability, specifically the uncertainty of getting paid on time, feeling isolated without team support, and getting stuck in a high-stress, dead-end role. Transitioning to remote work for an offshore team naturally comes with fears about communication gaps or being treated as just an easily replaceable worker, especially when managing demanding workloads without a proper safety net. Working with my current client and team has completely flipped that perspective. They are remarkably supportive, and compensation is always reliable, often arriving ahead of schedule.
